Kelsey Woods (she/her) is a Brisbane based installation and sculptural artist studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts) in her second last year. Woods is passionate about creating engaging and emotional interactions within her artworks through the use of immersive materials and compositions. Woods hopes to bring an eagerness to explore the unknown and new perspectives of the natural world to the Greenheart fair. Kelsey Woods' project, Curiosity Nests, is a sound-based installation work fusing technology and the natural world through the development of small kinetic robots housed within wildlife nesting boxes. The artwork invites the audience to move around the space while quietly contemplating their own influence within their environment and reflect on future regenerative possibilities.
